Display does not Dim when Light Control Switch is Turned ON (TO 12/2010): Procedure

  1. CHECK IMAGE QUALITY SETTING 
    1. Enter the display quality adjustment screen by pressing the "DISP" switch.

    2. Turn the light control switch to the tail position.
    3. Check if "Day Mode" on the display quality adjustment screen is on.

      OK

      "Day Mode" is on.

    OK → TURN "Day Mode" SETTING OFF 

  2. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Vehicle Signal Check Mode" (Check Vehicle Signal). Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the light control switch operation.

      OK

      Light Control Switch Display
      tail or head ON
      off OFF

      HINT: 

      The display is updated once per second. It is normal for the display to lag behind the actual switch operation.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → See step   4 

  3. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  4. REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL
