Navigation Receiver Assembly Power Source Circuit (FROM 12/2010): Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY, GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the E52 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the E39 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E52-20 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E52-1 (B) - E52-20 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V
      E52-11 (ACC) - E52-20 (GND) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      E39-2 (IG) - E52-20 (GND) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2
