Sound Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter (TO 12/2010): Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER) 
    1. Disconnect the E47 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the M3 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E47-19 (AUXI) - M3-9 (AUXO) Always Below 1 Ω
      E47-18 (AGND) - M3-10 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      E47-15 (ARI) - M3-6 (ARO) Always Below 1 Ω
      E47-17 (ALI) - M3-7 (ALO) Always Below 1 Ω
      E47-16 (ASGN) - M3-8 (ASGN) Always Below 1 Ω
      E47-19 (AUXI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E47-18 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E47-15 (ARI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E47-17 (ALI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E47-16 (ASGN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
