Reverse Signal Circuit (FROM 12/2010): Procedure
- CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (REVERSE SIGNAL INPUT)
- Disconnect the N9 connector from the inner rear view mirror assembly.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N9-3 (REV) - Body ground Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R 7 V or higher
NG → See step 2
OK → See step 4
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)
- Disconnect the N9 connector from the inner rear view mirror assembly.
- Disconnect the B13 connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N9-3 (REV) - B13-2 (RL) Always Below 1 Ω N9-3 (REV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
