REMOVAL (To 12/2010): Removal
- PREVENT GASOLINE FROM SPILLING OUT
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
- REMOVE REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
- SEPARATE FUEL PUMP TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
- DRAIN FUEL
- REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY CENTER
- DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO. 2 . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
- DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO. 3 . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
- REMOVE FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 13
- REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.

- Push the connector deep inside.
- Pinch portion A.
- Pull out the connector.
- Disconnect the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly from the charcoal canister.

- Push the connector deep inside.
- Pinch portion A.
- Pull out the connector.
- Disconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
- Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
- Disconnect the purge line hose from the charcoal canister.
- Remove the 2 bolts, clip and charcoal canister.
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.
