Mute Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Multi-media Interface ECU: Procedure
- INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F28-6 (MUT1) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC, Satellite radio playing → Changing source Above 3.5 V → Below 1 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Component with harness connected

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU)
- Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F37-6 (MUTE) - F28-6 (MUT1) Always Below 1 Ω F37-6 (MUTE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Front view of wire harness connector

(to Multi-media Interface ECU)
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU
- Replace the multi-media interface ECU and check that it operates normally. Refer to REMOVAL
