Mute Signal Circuit between Stereo Component Tuner Assembly and Multi-media Interface ECU: Procedure
- INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F30-6 (MUTE) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC, USB audio system playing → Changing source Above 3.5 V → Below 1 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Component with harness connected

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU)
- Disconnect the stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Disconnect the multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY
- Replace the stereo component tuner assembly and check that it operates normally. Refer to REMOVAL
