4WD Control ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (4WD CONTROL ECU BRANCH LINE)
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the 4WD control ECU connector.

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition E17-14 (CANH) - E17-16 (CANL) Ignition switch off 54 to 69 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE 4WD CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL)
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL)
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND TERMINAL)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
