Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Remove the body ECU from instrument panel J/B.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4 (GND2) - Body ground
      5 (GND1) - Body ground
      Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      26 (BECU) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      22 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch on (ACC) 10 to 14 V
      15 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → PROCEED TO  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
