How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT: 

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard voltage

    11 to 14 V

    HINT: 

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using Techstream, inspect the LIN communication function to ensure there are no malfunctions in the communication system.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs output A
      DTCs output B

      B → GO TO  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  

      A: Go to next step 

  4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
    RESULT

    Result Proceed to
    Fault not listed in problem symptoms table A
    Fault listed in problem symptoms table B

    B → GO TO STEP   6 

    A: Go to next step 

  5. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING* 
    1. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
    2. Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU .
    3. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST .

      NEXT: Go to next step 

  6. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  7. CONFIRMATION TEST 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  8. RESET POWER WINDOW MOTOR 
    1. If the power window master switch AUTO light is blinking, reset the power window motor. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
