Downhill Assist Control Switch: Inspection: Inspection

  1. CHECK DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      Pushed in Below 25 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

    2. Apply battery voltage and check the illumination operation.

      OK

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2
      Bulb illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
