Fuel Pressure Regulator: Installation: Installation
- INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the fuel pressure regulator.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 New O-Ring - Install the fuel pressure regulator with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)
- Connect the vacuum hose.

- Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the fuel pressure regulator.
- CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY See step 3
- INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK
- Install the intake air surge tank. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK See step 7
