Multi-media Interface ECU Power Source Circuit: Procedure
- INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU
- Disconnect the E41 multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU)
- Disconnect the E53 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the E41 multi-media interface ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E41-11 (ACC) - E53-11 (ACC) Always Below 1 Ω E41-12 (+B) - E53-12 (+B) Always Below 1 Ω E41-7 (GND) - E53-7 (GND) Always Below 1 Ω E41-11 (ACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher E41-12 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher E41-7 (GND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
