Installation

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ECM: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ECM

(a) Install the 2 ECM brackets with the 4 screws.





Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 ECM connectors.

NOTICE:
When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter is not stuck between the connectors and other parts.





(1) Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the 2 levers are securely lowered.

(c) Install the ECM to the body.





(d) Install the ECM with the 3 nuts.





Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER Installation

3. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Installation

6. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Installation

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
If the cable is disconnected, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
