Driver Side Power Window does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH - POWER RELAY AND GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the H7 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      H7-15 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H7-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      (to Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly)

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Inspect the power window regulator master switch assembly. Refer to INSPECTION .

    NG → See step   4 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH) 
    1. Disconnect the H7 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the H3 power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H7-12 (D) - H3-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      H7-10 (U) - H3-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      H7-12 (D) or H3-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H7-10 (U) or H3-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   5 

  4. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  5. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL
