Front Passenger Side Power Window does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH - POWER RELAY) 
    1. Disconnect the G6 power window regulator switch assembly connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G6-3 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Inspect the power window regulator switch assembly. Refer to INSPECTION .

    NG → See step   6 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Inspect the power window regulator motor assembly RH. Refer to INSPECTION .

    NG → See step   7 

    OK: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH) 
    1. Disconnect the G6 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G3 power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G6-1 (D) - G3-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      G6-4 (U) - G3-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      G6-1 (D) or G3-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G6-4 (U) or G3-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the H7 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G6 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H7-18 (D) - G6-2 (SD) Always Below 1 Ω
      H7-16 (U) - G6-5 (SU) Always Below 1 Ω
      H7-18 (D) or G6-2 (SD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H7-16 (U) or G6-5 (SU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   8 

  6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  7. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  8. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL
