Display Signal Circuit between Television Display Assembly and Navigation Receiver Assembly: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)
    1. Disconnect the E25 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the Q13 television display assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E25-2 (VV+) - Q13-11 (NTS1) Always Below 1 Ω
      E25-6 (VV-) - Q13-10 (SG3) Always Below 1 Ω
E25-2 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
E25-6 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
Q13-9 (SGN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to next step

  2. INSPECT TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
    1. Reconnect the Q13 television display assembly connector.

    2. Measure the waveform according to the table below.

      OK

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
Q13-11 (NTS1) - Body ground DVD display is on A waveform synchronized with display signals is output

      HINT:

The waveform pattern may differ from that shown in the illustration below due to differences in the oscilloscope setting. A normal television display assembly operating condition can be determined if any waveform is output.
