Door LOCK Position Circuit: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
    5. Read the display on the Techstream.
      MAIN BODY (MAIN BODY ECU)

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      D-Door Lock Pos SW Driver side door lock position switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Driver side door unlocked
      OFF: Driver side door locked      		 -
      P-Door Lock Pos SW Front passenger side door lock position switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Front passenger side door unlocked
      OFF: Front passenger side locked      		 -

      OK

      Normal conditions listed above are displayed.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  
  3. GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
