TPMS Reminder Reset - Procedure 18: Initialization

NOTE: Perform initialization after a tire rotation, replacement of the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, after replacement of a tire pressure sensor, or when the tire pressure has been changed from the currently established pressure (e.g. a different type of tire is used or to accommodate a load).
NOTE: Perform initialization only after the transmitter ID registration is completed.
  1. Turn the power switch ON.
  2. Using the steering pad switch assembly, select "TPMS" on the multi-information display and press and hold the "ENTER" switch (center button) until the tire pressure warming light blinks 3 times. See Figure.
  3. Turn the power switch OFF.
  4. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  5. Turn the power switch ON and turn the Techstream ON.
  6. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.
  7. Check that initialization has been completed.
  8. Confirm that the tire pressure data of all tires is displayed on the Techstream screen.
