If a cellular phone is used as a portable player, it must be registered independently from the registration that is performed for the hands-free system.

- CHECK SYMPTOMS
- Check the connection condition between the portable player and radio receiver assembly.
HINT:
The portable player cannot be connected when any of the following conditions are met:
- The portable player is connected to another device.
- The portable player is connected to the radio receiver assembly using the hands-free function.
- The radio receiver assembly has cleared the portable player registration.
- The portable player is off.

- CHECK AUTOMATIC CONNECTION SETTINGS

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON.
