Transfer Assembly: Removal: Removal

REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE
Refer to REMOVAL for 2AZ-FE.
REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 63
INSTALL ENGINE HANGER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 60
REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SETTING BOLT . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
REMOVE TRANSFER STIFFENER PLATE RH
1. Remove the 4 bolts and transfer stiffener plate RH.

REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 12
REMOVE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 2 bolts and 6 nuts.

2. Using a plastic hammer, remove the transfer assembly from the transaxle assembly.
  NOTE:
  - Remove the transfer assembly from the transaxle assembly without tilting it.
  - During removal, do not hold the transfer assembly by the oil seals on either side of the assembly.
