Engine Hood Courtesy Switch: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  2. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AZ-FE)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for 2AZ-FE)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  5. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts from the hood lock assembly.

    2. Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock assembly.
