FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (w/ Occupant Classification ECU, Occupant Classification Sensor): Installation: Installation

INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU
1. Install the occupant classification ECU with the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the occupant classification ECU with a new one.
  - When installing the occupant classification ECU, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
2. Connect the connector.
  NOTE:
  When connecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR
1. Install the occupant classification sensor with 2 new clips.

2. Install the connector with the claw.

3. Connect the connector.
  WARNING:
  - Make sure the gel mat hose is closer to the floor than the main harness.
  - When setting the hose, make sure the hose is not twisted. 1 full twist or more will damage the hose.
  - Make sure the radius of the circular path of the hose is 20 mm (0.787 in.) or more.
INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH
w/o Seatback board: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 20 .

w/ Seatback board: Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 10
INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH
w/o Seatback board: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 21 .

w/ Seatback board: Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 31
INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
1. Install the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
w/o Seatback board: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 24 .

w/ Seatback board: Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 29
INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH
w/o Seatback board: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 27 .

w/ Seatback board: Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 30
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Seatback Board)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1 .
INSPECT FRONT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK (w/o Seatback Board)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2 .
INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (w/o Seatback Board)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3 .
INSTALL OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (w/o Seatback Board)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4 .
INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Seatback Board)
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSPECT FRONT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (w/ Seatback Board)
for 2WD: Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3

for 4WD: Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
INSTALL OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seatback Board)
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK
1. If the occupant classification ECU has been replaced, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Inspect the SRS warning light. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
