Cruise Control Main Switch: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system. Refer to PRECAUTION .

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  5. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Disengage the pin and remove the cruise control main switch as shown in the illustration.
