Steering Pad Switch: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH 
    1. Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the steering pad switch LH.
    2. Install the screw.

      Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector to the spiral cable.
  2. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the steering pad switch assembly.
    2. Install the screw.

      Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf) 

    3. Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the steering pad switch.
    4. Install the screw.

      Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf) 

    5. Connect the connector to the spiral cable.
  3. INSTALL STEERING PAD  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  7. INSPECT STEERING PAD  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
  8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
