Camshaft Oil Control Valve: Installation: Installation

- INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
- Intake camshaft side:
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly

NOTE:Do not twist the O-ring.
- Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and wire harness bracket with the bolt.

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly
- Exhaust camshaft side:
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

NOTE:Do not twist the O-ring.
- Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and wire harness bracket with the bolt.

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
- Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf)
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
- Intake camshaft side:
- INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
- INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 85
