Camshaft Oil Control Valve: Installation: Installation

INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
1. Intake camshaft side:
  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly

    NOTE:
    Do not twist the O-ring.
  2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and wire harness bracket with the bolt.

    Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
  3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
2. Exhaust camshaft side:
  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

    NOTE:
    Do not twist the O-ring.
  2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and wire harness bracket with the bolt.

    Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
  3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
  4. Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.

    Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf)
INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 85
