Steering Pad Switch: Removal: Removal

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
- REMOVE STEERING PAD . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
- REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH LH
- for Type A:
- Disconnect the pad switch connector from the spiral cable and disengage the clamp.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 pins and remove the steering pad switch LH.
- for Type B:
- Disconnect the steering pad switch assembly connector from the spiral cable.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 pins and claw, and remove the steering pad switch LH.
- for Type A:
- REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- for Type A:
- Disconnect the pad switch connector from the spiral cable and disengage the clamp.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 pins and remove the steering pad switch.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 pins and remove the steering pad switch assembly.
- for Type B:
- Disconnect the steering pad switch connector from the spiral cable.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 pins and claw, and remove the steering pad switch.
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the 2 pins and claw, and remove the steering pad switch assembly.
