Engine Unit: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
  2. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  3. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 19
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the No. 1 intake manifold insulator.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  6. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
  7. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
  8. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 12
  9. REMOVE INLET WATER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  10. REMOVE THERMOSTAT  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  11. REMOVE ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK 
  12. REMOVE ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK GUIDE  See step  30
  13. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE 
    1. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, then remove the No. 1 water by-pass pipe.

    2. Remove the gasket.
  14. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  15. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 19
  16. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  17. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  18. REMOVE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER 
    1. Remove the bolt and radio setting condenser.
