Installation

2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: KNOCK SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL KNOCK SENSOR

(a) Install the knock sensor with the bolt as shown in the illustration.





Torque : 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the knock sensor connector.





2. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Install a new gasket to the intake manifold.





(b) Install the intake manifold and intake manifold stay with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.





Torque : 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.





(d) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.





(e) Connect the ventilation hose.





(f) Connect the 2 hoses.





(g) Connect the wire harness clamp and install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 89 in-lbf)

(h) Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses and the throttle body connector.





3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

7. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER Installation
