U341E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BATTERY Removal

2. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER Removal

3. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.





(b) Remove the clip and disconnect the control cable assembly from the control cable bracket.

4. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

(b) Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever.





(c) Unstake the lock plate and remove the manual valve shaft nut.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the park/neutral position switch assembly.
