Transfer Assembly: Installation: Installation

INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
1. Install the transfer assembly to the transaxle assembly with the 2 bolts and 6 nuts.

  Torque: 69 N*m (700 kgf*cm, 51 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Install the transfer assembly to the transaxle assembly horizontally.
  - Do not touch the transfer assembly oil seals during installation.
INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 8
INSTALL TRANSFER STIFFENER PLATE RH
1. Install the transfer stiffener plate RH with the 4 bolts.

  Torque: 34 N*m (347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf)
  
  Bolt length

  45 mm (1.7717 in.)
  
  Bolt B
  
  30 mm (1.1811 in.)
INSTALL DRIVE PLATE AND TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SETTING BOLT . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 10
INSTALL REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 13
CONNECT WIRE HARNESS . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 14
INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 13
