TRANSMITTER BATTERY (w/o Smart Key System): Replacement: Replacement

  1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry open the transmitter housing cover.

      NOTE:

      Do not forcibly pry the cover.

  2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the door control transmitter module from the transmitter housing case.

      NOTE:

      Handle each part with care as they are delicate electrical parts.

  3. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY 
    1. Twist the coin in the direction of the arrow mark in the illustration, and remove the transmitter battery cover.

    2. Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2025).

      NOTE:
      • Do not push the terminals with your finger.
      • Do not forcibly pry up the battery. The terminals may become damaged.
      • Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
      • Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may cease to work.
      • To prevent the transmitter from being damaged, be sure to touch a grounded metal surface with your bare hands to discharge any static electricity before replacing the transmitter battery.
  4. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY 
    1. Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2025) with the positive (+) side facing upward, as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
      • Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.
      • To prevent the transmitter from being damaged, be sure to touch a grounded metal surface with your bare hands to discharge any static electricity before replacing the transmitter battery.
    2. Install the cover.

  5. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE 
    1. Install the door control transmitter module into the transmitter housing case, and install the transmitter housing cover securely onto the transmitter housing case.

  6. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER 
    1. Install the transmitter housing cover to the transmitter housing case.
