How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the dynamic radar cruise control system.

- INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE
- Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.
Standard Voltage
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

- Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.
- CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)*
- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
Result
Result Proceed to CAN DTC is not output A CAN DTC is output B B → GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
A: Go to next step
- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
- CHECK FOR DTC*
Refer to DTC Check / Clear. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
- Clear the DTCs.
- Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
