Freeze Frame Data

- FREEZE FRAME DATA
- Whenever a meter DTC is detected, the meter ECU (No. 3 meter circuit plate) stores the current vehicle state as Freeze Frame Data.
- CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Trouble Codes.
- According to the Techstream display, select the trouble code data display with Freeze Frame Data.COMBINATION METER
Tester Display Measurement Item Reference Value Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" The distance and time when the DTC stored Min.: 0, Max.: 999999 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module The distance and time when the DTC stored Min.: 0, Max.: 999999 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control The distance and time when the DTC stored Min.: 0, Max.: 999999 Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B" The distance and time when the DTC stored Min.: 0, Max.: 999999 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module The distance and time when the DTC stored Min.: 0, Max.: 999999
- CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA NOTE:
Clearing the DTC will also clear the Freeze Frame Data.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Clear the DTC and Freeze Frame Data. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
