Occupant Classification Ecu: Removal: Removal

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing. Refer to PRECAUTION .

    NOTE:
    • When removing front seat assembly RH, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
    • When replacing the occupant classification ECU, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
    • Refer to the procedure up to Remove Front Seat Assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
  3. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant classification ECU.
