Frame Wire: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL FRAME WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulating gloves.

    NOTE:

    Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.

    1. Install the frame wire with the 4 clamps.

    2. Insert the frame wire into the floor panel hole.

      HINT: 

      The arrow should be pointing toward the front of the vehicle.

    3. Install the nut shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    4. Install the nut and clamp shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    5. Install the nut and 2 clamps shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    6. Install the heater water pipe sub-assembly and nut.

      Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf) 

    7. Connect the clamp shown in the illustration.

    8. Connect the clamp shown in the illustration.

    9. Connect the 2 clamps shown in the illustration.

    10. Connect the connector to the engine room junction block assembly.

    11. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the floor panel.

    12. Install the wire harness protector and connect the clamp to the floor panel.

  2. CONNECT HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulating gloves.

    1. Install the frame wire on the hybrid battery junction block with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the clamp and frame wire.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure that the ends of the frame wire are not crossed over each other.
      • Be sure to connect the frame wires to the correct terminals.
  3. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION  See step  11
  4. CONNECT CABLE TO BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. Connect the 3 wire harness clamps.

    2. Install the nut, and connect the 2 clamps.

      Torque: 7.6 N*m (77 kgf*cm, 67 in.*lbf) 

    3. Install the terminal cover.

  5. INSTALL UPPER HYBRID BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  17
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY EXHAUST DUCT  See step  18
  7. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER  See step  19
  8. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 27
  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 28
  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 29
  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 9
  12. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE REAR RH 
    1. Install the front suspension member brace rear RH with the new bolt (A) and 2 bolts (B).

      Bolt A 

      Torque: 137 N*m (1397 kgf*cm, 101 ft.*lbf) 

      Bolt B 

      Torque: 93 N*m (948 kgf*cm, 68 ft.*lbf) 

  13. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER RH 
    1. Install the front center floor cover RH with the 3 clips.

  14. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 
    1. Install the front floor cover RH with the 4 clips.

    2. Install the bolt.
  15. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Install the 3 nuts and No. 1 front floor heat insulator.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

  16. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Refer to INSTALLATION .

  17. INSTALL INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Refer to INSTALLATION .

  18. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP  See step  1
  19. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
  20. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 58
  21. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 59
  22. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for Separate Type)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 60
