DTC B2007: Open in Seat Belt Motor LH Circuit: Procedure
- INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
- Disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition R49-1 - R49-2 Always Below 20 Ω - Reconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.
NG → See step 4
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- Disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.
- Disconnect the seat belt control ECU connector.
- Using a service wire, connect 1 and 2 of the connector on the front seat outer belt assembly LH.NOTE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

(to Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly LH)*b Front view of wire harness connector
(to Seat Belt Control ECU) - Disconnect the service wire from the front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.
- Reconnect the seat outer belt assembly LH and seat belt control ECU connectors.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
OK → See step 3
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to REMOVAL
