DTC C1A40: ENG / EHV Device: Description

When the driving support ECU receives a hybrid control system or engine control system malfunctioning signal from the power management control ECU via the CAN communication system, DTC C1A40 is stored.

When DTC C1A40 is detected, the hybrid control system or engine control system DTC will also be detected.

  1. System diagnosis conditions
    • Pre-collision system:

      The power switch is on (IG).

    • Radar cruise control system:

      Vehicle is being driven at speed of approximately 50 km/h (31 mph) or more and distance control switch is on.
