Radio Receiver Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY - AUXILIARY BATTERY, BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the navigation ECU sub-assembly connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L127-7 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L127-4 (+B1) - L127-7 (GND1) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      L127-3 (ACC1) - L127-7 (GND1) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      L130-1 (IG) - L127-7 (GND1) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
