- INSPECT ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Locked Below 1 Ω 1 - 2 Unlocked 10 kΩ or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Unlock *2 Lock *a Component without harness connected
(Hood Lock Assembly (Engine Hood Courtesy Switch))If the result is not as specified, replace the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
