Back Door Entry Lock Function does not Operate: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream ON.
3. By following the Techstream screen display, check whether any DTCs are output.

   OK

   No DTC output.

1. Check that all the doors unlock when the door control switch (for manual operation) is turned to LOCK and UNLOCK.

   All doors can be lock and unlocked with door control switch.

1. Check that the wireless door lock and unlock functions operate normally. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

   OK

1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the door lock switch.

1. Temporarily replace the ECU aggregation box (certification ECU) with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to REMOVAL .
2. Check that the entry lock and unlock functions operate normally. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

   OK

NG → REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU) 

OK → END (CERTIFICATION ECU IS DEFECTIVE)

1. Disconnect the back door outside handle connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminal when the lock switch is operated.

   Standard resistance 

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   1 (TRG-) - 3 (TRG+)	Switch released	10 kΩ or higher
   	Switch pressed in	Below 1 Ω

NG → See step   10 

OK → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
