Active Torque Control 4WD System: Calibration: Calibration
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- DESCRIPTION
- When the 4WD control ECU is replaced with a normal one from another vehicle, or the yaw rate sensor is replaced, perform calibration.
- Follow the chart to perform calibration.
Part Replaced Necessary Operation 4WD Control ECU (When replaced with a normal one from another vehicle) Clear zero point calibration data Yaw Rate Sensor - Clear zero point calibration data
- Perform yaw rate and deceleration sensor zero point calibration
HINT:
- When the 4WD control ECU is replaced with a new one, calibration is unnecessary.
- Calibrate the 4WD control ECU by performing calibration of the vehicle stability control system.
- PERFORM CALIBRATION (When Using Techstream)
- Clear the zero point calibration data.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Utility / Reset Memory.
- Operate the Techstream to clear the data.NOTE:
When the yaw rate sensor is replaced, be sure to also perform vehicle stability control system calibration.Refer to CALIBRATION .
- Clear the zero point calibration data.
- PERFORM CALIBRATION (When not Using Techstream)
- Calibrate the 4WD control ECU by performing vehicle stability control system calibration.
HINT:
To perform vehicle stability control system calibration, refer to PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (When not Using Techstream).Refer to CALIBRATION .
