Sound Signal Circuit Between Navigation Receiver Assembly And Stereo Jack Adapter: Procedure
- CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the D56 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - STEREO JACK ADAPTER)
- Disconnect the D56 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D128 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D56-15 (ARI) - D128-5 Always Below 1 Ω D56-16 (ASGN) - D128-7 Always Below 1 Ω D56-17 (ALI) - D128-6 Always Below 1 Ω D56-18 (AGND) - D128-9 Always Below 1 Ω D56-19 (AUXI) - D128-8 Always Below 1 Ω D56-15 (ARI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D56-16 (ASGN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D56-17 (ALI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D56-18 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D56-19 (AUXI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
