Sound Signal Circuit Between Navigation Receiver Assembly And Stereo Component Tuner Assembly: Procedure
- CHECK STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the D59 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
- Disconnect the L20 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D59 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L20-2 (FRO+) - D59-2 (CDR+) Always Below 1 Ω L20-3 (FRO-) - D59-3 (CDR-) Always Below 1 Ω L20-4 (FLO+) - D59-4 (CDL+) Always Below 1 Ω L20-5 (FLO-) - D59-5 (CDL-) Always Below 1 Ω Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
