Mute Signal Circuit Between Navigation Receiver Assembly And Television Display Assembly: Procedure
- INSPECT TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition U1-11 (MUTE) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC, RSE system playing → Changing mode Above 3.5 V → Below 1 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Component with harness connected

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the D59 navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the U1 television display assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D59-6 (MUTE) - U1-11 (MUTE) Always Below 1 Ω D59-6 (MUTE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (OUTPUT SIGNAL)
- Reconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
