- CHECK FOR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision and Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.RESULT

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU - MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR)
- Disconnect the A44 driving support ECU and A36 millimeter wave radar sensor connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A44-38 (LRRD) - A36-4 (LRRD) Always Below 1 Ω A36-4 (LRRD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher A44-38 (LRRD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the driving support ECU and millimeter wave radar sensor connectors.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR (IGB VOLTAGE)
- Disconnect the A36 millimeter wave radar sensor connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

(to Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor) - Reconnect the millimeter wave radar sensor connector.

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR (SGND CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the A36 millimeter wave radar sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- INSPECT DRIVING SUPPORT ECU (LRRD OUTPUT VOLTAGE)
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
