Occupant Classification Ecu: Installation: Installation
WARNING:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing. Refer to PRECAUTION .
- INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU
- Install the occupant classification ECU with the claw.

NOTE:If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the occupant classification ECU with a new one.
- Connect the 2 connectors.NOTE:
When installing the occupant classification ECU, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with and is not pinched between other parts.
- Install the occupant classification ECU with the claw.
- INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
- INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
Torque: 5.4 N*m (54 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
- ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK
Refer to INITIALIZATION
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
