Power Source Mode does not Change to ON (ACC): Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU) See step   1 

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (BATTERY - POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU) 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR See step   2 

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT ACC RELAY See step   5 

    NG → REPLACE ACC RELAY 

    OK: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR See step   3 

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR See step   4 

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  6. CHECK POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU 
    1. Reconnect the all connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D43-19 (ACCD) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      D43-19 (ACCD) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) Output voltage at terminal AM21 or AM22 -2 V or more
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 Components with harness connected
      (Power Management Control ECU)

    NG → See step   7 

    OK → See step   8 

  7. REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  8. REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL
