Generator Signal Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - GENERATOR)
- Disconnect the connector from the A/C amplifier.
- Disconnect the connector from the generator.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E9-24 (ALT) - B15-3 (M) Always Below 1 Ω E9-24 (ALT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT GENERATOR
- Inspect the generator.
- for 2AZ-FE:
Inspect the generator. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION for On-Vehicle Inspection. Refer to INSPECTION for Inspection).
- for 2ZR-FE:
Inspect the generator. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION for On-Vehicle Inspection. Refer to INSPECTION for Inspection).

- Inspect the generator.
