Steering Wheel: Installation: Installation

INSTALL LOWER STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER
1. Engage the 2 claws to install the lower steering wheel boss cover to the steering wheel sub-assembly.

2. Engage the 2 pins.
INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH WIRE (w/ Cruise Control System)
INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH (w/ Cruise Control System) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL ORNAMENT (w/o Steering Pad Switch RH)
1. Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the No. 1 steering wheel ornament to the steering wheel sub-assembly.

2. Install the screw.
  Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf)
INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH (w/o Steering Pad Switch RH) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Steering Pad Switch RH) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 23
INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
1. Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft.

2. Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.
  Torque: 50 N*m (510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf)
3. Connect the connectors to the spiral cable sub-assembly.

INSTALL STEERING PAD
